I am so very sorry for your loss. I work at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum and have been researching the group(s) that helped to bring Mr. Moratz to the United States as a child in 1941, and I just recently came across his website with information about it. I was about to reach out to share what we have found when I found this memorial page. He sounds like a remarkable man, and I wish I could have gotten to know him and ask about his life. I hope his family finds peace in this difficult time. --Ron

Mr. Moratz and I corresponded online. He was extremely gracious to a stranger. In an odd way, I felt that we were friends. Rest in a well deserved peace, Ralph Moratz.

You posted on my own BBS almost every day and our friends and I enjoyed your posts.
You helped us in many computer troubles and told us about your incredible experiences in show business.
I really thank you very much. I am now very sad without you and it is also sad that you didn't visit Japan.
Hope you are looking down us and Japan from another world.
Hope you are enjoying with your son Gary and many people who you loved.

And I have to say thank you to Robin for give me a chance to write here.

My deepest condolences on the passing of Ralph. I did not know him, but I worked for Bill Graham. Thanks to Ralph for helping with the history for the new exhibit on Bill's life. May the many happy memories of Ralph bring comfort to his family and all who knew and loved him, and may his memory be a blessing.

Ralph and I worked together at Glendale Federal Bank. He was a great mentor and friend. He taught me the game of golf, and was a fantastic teacher of the game. I was able to play with him a few times. I have wonderful memories of our time together. Now you are resting in peace!

Sincere Condolences to his family!

The world has lost a wonderful person. I am sure I'm not the only one who will miss his posts on Facebook and wish he could be here to vote in November! My heart goes out to all of you as you grieve this major loss in your family. Wishing you peace, comfort and love.

I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Ralph. Me and my dad worked with him in the movie business and he always used to help me whenever I had questions I could not figure out about computers. We both got a kick out of watching police pursuits and always called each other if we saw one on TV. Tonight March 13 there was one at 10 pm so I called his phone and it was out of order. I also instant messages him on Facebook and got no reply. I felt something was wrong so I looked at Facebook and saw the news about his passing. May peace be with his family at this time.

Hi Michael
I am his daughter. My dad was in end stage cancer so we brought him here to Oregon in January so I could care for him in this final stage of his life. His granddaughter, Angie also moved here to help take care of him. It is a terrible thing that we lost him, but his pain has ended now and that is a wonderful thing.
We are holding a celebration of life for him on April 10th from 2-4. We are changing venues so if you watch his page the new place will be on there.
