Delbert D Mulvaney

Delbert D. Mulvaney of Hermiston, Oregon was born on July 15, 1935 in Sandy, Oregon to parents, Ernest Leonard and Verna E. Kish Mulvaney. He died on September 23, 2015 in Richland, Washington at the age of 80 years. Delbert was united in marriage to Ruby L. Hooker on August 9, 1954 in Boise, Idaho. They have lived in Hermiston, Oregon for the last 47 years. Delbert had worked in agriculture in the Hermiston area and had worked in the logging industry during his younger years in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching professional wrestling and Nascar.

He is survived by his wife: Ruby Mulvaney, Hermiston, OR; sons: James and Wayne Mulvaney, both of Hermiston, OR; daughters: Verna Shepardson, Beaverton, OR, Laura Tucker & husband Jon, Hermiston, OR, Kelly Hoover, Oregon City, OR, Pearl Price, Hermiston, OR, and Carolyn Ramirez & husband Jay, Weston, OR; brother: Louis Mulvaney & wife Cindy, Drain, OR; sisters: Vera Crisp, Hillsboro, OR, Juanita Lester, Sunnyvalley, OR; 17 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Delbert was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers: Gerald, Lee, and Warren. 

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at 724 W. Sandpiper Ave., Hermiston, OR 97838.
