Our thoughts and prayers go out to All the Family. What a Great man he will be Greatly missed. Could not have a better friend. I first came to know Sherman in the early 80's at Eastern Oregon Farming Company he had worked with K&S systems installing one of the first telemetry systems in the area.

He held our hand when we crossed the street. He taught us to make kites from newspaper and how to fly them. He gave us dancing and driving lessons and helped us move so many times. He cried with us when grief struck while - still being strong for all of us. He advised us and he told us the truth. We were always glad to see him, we never fought. He gave his time, his possessions and his love without hesitation or regret. We trusted him and respected him and loved him and we knew we were protected by him.
I hope you are experiencing the wonders of all creation Sherm, because I know how you would appreciate them. I love you always and will try to live well, the way you showed us.

Sherman was such a great guy, seems I have known him most of my life. He had the best smile, always happy, funny funny man. He was very proud of his family, always had a story to tell. He will be greatly missed, didn't see him often but he always had time for a "visit". My prayers and thoughts are with you all as you move forward, when I think of him it will always be with a smile.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I have some great memories of Sherman. I believe it was either fourth or fifth grade when I found a piece of broken mirror left in my desk at school. On the front it said, "I love you", on the back it said, "Sherman". A very found memory indeed. Please accept our thoughts and prayers. It was so good to visit with Sherman and his sister at the last reunion we attended. Sharon

I just took a walk on my break from work and read about Mr. Hill's passing in the EO. Mr. Hill was always positive and encouraging with his kids and also with me. You can never have enough individuals like that in your life. He was a kind and impactful soul. RIP Mr. Hill. Love and prayers to you Dave from the Richards family.

I knew & grew up with Sherm, I live in Irrigon also & will miss his smile. He would come down to the park & have lunch in between his bus schedule. I will miss him a lot. He loved going on his Harley & loved talking about his kids & especially spending time with his grandkids. RIP sHERM
