I am at a loss of words to express how much Thelma and I care for you Tom. It was wonderful getting to know you over the years and listening to you play such beautiful music on your Violin. We know how much you love Merla so we promise to keep watch over her for you while you are up there playing music in Heaven. I really enjoyed playing music with you and I thank you for that. Thelma and I will think of you often.

Thank you both for all the love and caring things you have done for Merla. Daddy loved you both very much and the family appreciates your kindness.

Tom and Barbara were good friends way back in the 1960's . I lost my husband, Arnold, 3 years ago, but we both had lots of fond memories of Tom and Barbara - times playing golf and dancing at the Elks club in Pendleton. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.

Our family sure enjoyed Tom's friendship. He always had time for a story and a song. He came out to my parents farms, (Arnold and Mary Lou Braat) over the years when they were alive. He shared his talent at Church and the Retirement homes. Eastern Oregon will miss him dearly. And nothing could be better than watching Tom smile. He reminded me of "the good old days". Sincere condolences for the Family.

Grandpa was many things, but what stands out the most in my mind was his ability to provide comfort, peace of mind, reassurance. You knew he spoke the truth because of his faith and the wisdom with which he was blessed, and his kindness was a constant reminder of God's love.

So sorry to hear of this great fellows demise. I met Tom in the fall of 1961 when he and Jim Boylan had a used car lot across from what is now the Ford dealership, formerly Rohrmans. He was always in good spirits when we met and he shall be missed.

Tom was such a wonderful caring person. I enjoyed playing the fiddle with him at jam secession's and at his old house in Echo and having lunch with him. One of my favorite violins is one that I purchased from Tom years ago. My sincere condolences to his wife and family.

Dear Judee, John and Steve. We were so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I remember Tom so well, and your mom too, from our many activities at the First Baptist Church. And Tom was such a good friend to my dad, Roland Cassens. We know that you will miss him dearly. There's nothing harder than loosing a parent. ☹ May God bless your family during this time of sorrow. Always, Karl & Laura

I knew Tom to be a very generous and kind man. I sorry it is to be a private funeral. He shared his talents with everyone and kept music alive for decades in our community. I remember him when my grandma came to live with us, and he took care of her financial plans in 1965. Prayers for the family and my sincere condolences.

Just a note to say how much my family loved and respected Tom. He was such a blessing in our mothers life and a life saver for ours when he took such loving care of Mom. We really loved him and are grateful for his loving kindness.
May your family be blessed for having such a wonderful father and man in your lives.
