Michael Ray Snyder Jr.

Michael R. Snyder Jr. was born on January 4, 1971 in Umatilla, Oregon to parents, Michael Sr. and Darlene Gollyhorn Snyder. He died on November 13, 2015 at his home in Irrigon, Oregon at the age of 44 years. Mike was raised and attended schools in Irrigon and later at Riverside High School in Boardman, Oregon. He  worked as a mechanic at Myrick Chrysler and later in refrigeration repair and installation. Mike most recently had worked at the Dollar Store in Hermiston, Oregon. He enjoyed archery, motorcycles, atv-ing, fixing things, and tinkering with cars and motorcycles. Mike enjoyed spending time with friends and helping others. He had been active in the Father’s program through Headstart. 

He is survived by his parents: Michael Sr. & Darlene Snyder, Irrigon, OR; children: Jack Gutierrez, Hermiston, OR, Justin Snyder, Stanfield, OR, Jessica Gutierrez, Hermiston, OR, Jesse Snyder, Umatilla, OR, & Samantha Hollingsworth; sisters: Rashell Hough, Kennewick, WA, Daniele Snyder and Lauren Snyder, both of Irrigon, OR; 2 nieces; 1 nephew; was like a father to: Joshua, Justin, & Jayden; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Desert Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Irrigon, Oregon.
