Jerry was a Foster Mom (1986-1988) for me and two of my brothers, Nathan & Kenny. We were so blessed by her love, warmth, and genuine care. Looking back, I can really appreciate the sacrifice and dedication that she and Bob had. I came to know Jesus while living with them and even was baptized in the river by Bob 💛 She taught me to sing in front of the church and to memorize Bible verses that would later carry me through some hard times. Remembering her smile still makes me tear up. So beautiful and radiant. Rest in Peace beloved Jerry. Sending all my love to Bob, Lisa and Tim. She was an angel even before she joined the angels. ~Melissa

I will always remember the kindness she would always show and how much she loved the Lord and others. If everyone could be like her this world would be a different place.

Sincerely,

Martin

Aunt Jerry will truly be missed! She was a very special lady who loved her family. She and Uncle Bob shared a special love and were a great inspiration to all. She always had a smile on her face and enjoyed life. May everyone remember the special memories they shared with her.

Jerry was the sweetest most loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister-in-law. I always admired the way she took care of her family, sewed, canned, gardened and was always so happy and enjoyed life to the fullest. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. I care and will miss her!

Wow! We go back a long way don't we. Cherished times. First I want to apologize for not being able to be there in love and support for Sis Elston's memorial. I will be in California at that time. Praying for God's love and strength to comfort and be with you. So thankful for a faithful God. Love to you all ... Bro Elston, Tim, Lisa and family.

I am Auntie Jerry's very first niece :) My mom was her older sister Jo. I remember when I was little she would always swoon over Uncle Bob & tell everybody how dreamy he was. She had the coolest laugh. Auntie Jerry & Uncle Bob took my oldest son Dillon to summer church camp & he has never forgotten how much fun he had. The last time I saw her was at our family reunion at Crescent Lake & Uncle Bob cooked breakfast in the motel room & Auntie Jerry & I just laid on the bed and visited & giggled. it was soooooooo fun. We did help Uncle Bob clean up :) I didn't see her very much but i always knew she & Uncle Bob were there. I will miss her but she is in a good place. I loved her bunches <3

Jerry was one of the first people I met at church. She was so happy and bubbly and always made me feel a bit better after visiting with her. I loved her dedication to God, her husband, family, and the church. She will be missed, but I am happy for her faith in an everlasting God who will reward her justly with an expected end to eternal salvation.

I met Jerry a few years ago in church. She had a beautiful smile.. She loved all the children around (family or not) I taught several of her grandchildren in Sunday School before I met Jerry. Then I knew why they were so sweet. They had a loving and kind grandmother. She is deeply missed here and very welcomed in heaven with her Saviour and family.
