Gregory Kaye McAtee

Gregory Kaye McAtee lifelong Echo, Oregon resident passed away on July 7, 2015 after a long battle with cancer in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 53 years. Greg was born to his parents Jessie L. Boyer McAtee and C. Kaye McAtee on March 27, 1962 in Hermiston, Oregon. He attended school and then worked for the last 30 years in Echo, Oregon on the Coppinger and Hale Farms. Greg was a real rock hound, loved to fish, and pick mushrooms in the mountains. 

He is survived by his parents: Kaye & Jessie McAtee, Echo, OR; brothers: Ted McAtee and wife Sharon, Pendleton, OR, Rob McAtee, Germany, & Scott McAtee, Pilot Rock, OR; sisters: Pam Haney, Baker City, OR, Brenda Hunter & husband Larry, Echo, OR, & Donna Bradbury & husband Fred, Pendleton, OR; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, & cousins; and very good friends: Shannon & Norm Rhodes.

Greg was preceded in death by grandparents: Cyril & Doris McAtee and Ed & Margurite Compton.         

A celebration of life graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Echo Cemetery, Echo, Oregon.
