Gladys befriended my mother when they both lived at Sun Terrace. My mom, Vangie McIntyre, was sitting at another table with some nice, but very reserved and quiet ladies. She heard Gladys laughing across the room and after a few days, she asked to be moved to her table. Gladys became a good friend. She looked after my mom at meals, kept her on track as her Alzheimer's accelerated, and would pull me aside and whisper things I might be missing about Mom's health and happiness. I loved to sit with the ladies and chat while they ate. Gladys always asked about my husband's health and we discovered that my daughter and her grandson were good friends. How sweet! I will always be grateful for her interest and kindness to my mother. God bless her . My condolences to the family. Dorcie Tracy

I have wondered for years what happened to my kindergarten teacher. I have such fond memories of her. I was one of her students at the time she had her aneurysm. For years I have driven by her house at 9th and Main and remember my first field trip to plant something in her yard. I was only five. She will always be forever amazing. I am so happy to learn that she recovered well and lived a full and joyous life. Best wishes to her family. I have never forgotten her.

My high school years - and beyond - were brightened by this bubbly, warm, slightly off-the-wall classmate. She will be missed.

Our paths did not cross often in the time you were in Warrenton and John was in school, but, my memories are fond. You were always a nice person and shall be missed. May the Lord be with you where you are and that He watch over your family until they join you.
