My condolences to Doug's family. First met Doug when I had his kids in school, and so respected him for the concern that he and his wife had for the children's education. Doug also did work on our RV's, and he was always so professional. Enjoyed my visits with him about the outdoors and his horses! My prayers go out to all the family for thier lost.

Sorry for your loss. He will be surely missed. I never met Douglas but felt I knew him. I was named after him. He was my dad's best friend. I had a feeling this past Tuesday which was the day before I was baptized again on the following day. I have been given two second chances at life and will make the most of it like Douglas did. He will always be with me in spirit

Sorry for your loss. I still remember Doug out with the horses in the pasture. Helping our Mr. Vondy. What a blessing your family was to us as kids. Prayers and blessings.

Di, I was so sad to hear of your father's passing. I didn't know him but you always spoke very highly of him, and he and your mother raised you, so he must have been a very special person.

Judy, Doug and Di, so many memories of the interaction of my family with yours since Aug of 1974. Glad to have had you as close neighbors and friends. "Old Doug" was a fun hunting companion for my guys. We love you! Hugs!

So sorry to hear about Doug. We have some great memories of him and your family. He had a great sense of humor and did not let Parkinson's keep him from coming out and visiting, as long as he could still drive. He sure loved time in the outdoors with you, fishing and getting up into the woods. Very smart and horse savvy, raising some beautiful horses, and raised a wonderful family with Judy as well. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
