I think of her all the time...... still, it's been over a year.  It is not about the birthdate or date we lost her.  It is about the dash in between the two dates.  What you do with your dash, how you lived your life and what people remember.  Her dash was full......

The three of us.  That is what me, Amy and Deanna were growing up. We were like sisters who loved each other no matter what we said or did to each other. We met when we were 10 years old at Barge Lincoln school and lived in the same neighborhood until we graduated from Davis High School in 1980. What wonderful times we shared together growing up.

I reamianed friends with Deanna for 38 years. We talked on a regular basis and seen each other when we could. We shared so many wonderful life experiences together. Unfortunately Deanna also went through some bad experiences in her life but was able to overcome them and become the wonderful, caring person she was.

Your life was too short my friend. But like we always said. "Everything happens for a reason and there is a reason for everything that happens."

We don''t always understand the reasoning but we accept it.

Deanna, I love you dearly and will miss you just as much.

Until we see each other again .............you will always be in my thoughts.

Deanna and I worked at Roy and Venitas cafe when I first got sober. She was a great help to me at that time because we would talk or should I say , I would talk and she would listen. We had a lot of fun and I will miss her. In loving memory, Mickie Ebert
