She enjoyed raising her animals, gardening, crocheting blankets, collecting dolls, dancing, listening to records, going out to eat Chinese with her family and friends. She also loved her various charities including St.Labre Indian School, The Girls & Boys Town, St. Joseph Indian School, and Easter Seals. She was so compassionate and cared for anyone young or old that happened to cross her path that needed a hot meal, a mom, a friend, some encouragement or the sharing of god’s word. Some of these individuals stayed for a day, some stayed for years. If someone came in about dinner time her saying was “We always have room for one more.” She has become mom and grandma to so many over the years loving every one of them and many of them have had the pleasure of being gifted one of her beautiful crocheted blankets. She has always taken great joy and comfort in her family. She loved being in the middle of a large family gathering surrounded by her family, kids, grandkids, and great grandkids having the time of her life. She was loved by so many and will be missed by many who thought of her with such love and admiration.
A celebration of her life will be on Aug 17th @12pm @West Park, McNary Dam, Umatilla, OR.
