Bobby Day, Jr. was, without a doubt, one of the finest musicians, and finest people, that I have been blessed to work with in my 35+ years in the entertainment business.
His skill for playing the blues was amazing. Bobby was able to drop in in the pocket every time he played, and together we could play of each other like we were blood kin.....something that rarely happens on the riser. Every time we played together it was an exciting and memorable and passionate experience...every time.
That was the kind of person and performer that he was.
Bobby was my friend, my muse, and a joy to know and create music with.
Gone way too soon, but now he's rockin' with the angels, and with all the other guitar slingers in Heaven.
He was a good 'un.......and he will be missed.
