Shirley (Brox) Crane

Shirley Ann Crane was born April 13, 1929 in Baker City, Oregon to parents, Ernest Andrew & Anna May (Olsen) Brox. She died Monday, July 20, 2015 at     Canyon Lakes Restorative & Rehabilitation Center in Kennewick, Washington at the age of 86.
She was raised in Baker and graduated from Baker High School. On June 8, 1947 she married Lyle Wesley Crane in Baker City. They moved to Hermiston in 1962. Shirley taught Piano lessons for over 50 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church where she played the organ & piano for mass, was a member of their choir and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. Shirley enjoyed cooking, decorating her home, but her true love was her family.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Lyle; 2 Sons, Ernie & Kevin; Parents, Ernest & Anna Brox.

She is survived by 3 Daughters, Cathie (Bernie) Lamson of Stuart, FL, Monica (Karid) Bauer of Hermiston, OR and Holly (Matt) Rogers of Kennewick, WA; 
6 Grandchildren; 8 Great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, 565 W. Hermiston Ave., Hermiston, OR 97838.
A luncheon will follow at the parish hall. Private family burial of cremains will be at the Hermiston Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church building fund.
