Carol M. (Wolford) Packard

Carol M. Wolford Packard was born on November 10, 1927 in Keating, Oregon. She died on February 26, 2015 at her home in Echo, Oregon at the age of 87 years. Carol was raised and attended school in Stanfield, Oregon. She married Ira S. Packard on June 16, 1946 in Reno, Nevada. They moved to Portland, Oregon and Carol worked in a textile mill for 25 years. In 1985 they moved to Echo, Oregon where she has lived since. Carol was a member of the Echo Community Church, Echo, Oregon. She enjoyed sewing, playing cards, playing board games, and the outdoors.

She is survived by her daughters: Mary Dowell, Arizona, Carol Ann LaFetra, New Jersey, and Donna Stark, Portland, OR; sons: Greg & Craig Glasson, both of Portland, OR; sister: Charlotte Morehouse, Washington; numerous grandchildren;  great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren with one on the way, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a daughter: Sandra Zacharias; 4 sisters: June, Joyce, Sally, and Marjorie.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston, Oregon.

Burial will follow at the Echo Cemetery, Echo, Oregon.
