William "Bill" Martin Jr. Obituary

William E. “Bill” Martin Jr of Hermiston, Oregon, was born on April 9, 1966 in Burley, Idaho to parents, William Sr and Verla Martin. He died on December 20, 2025 in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 59 years. Bill was raised and attended school in Murtaugh, Idaho. Her served in the United States Navy during Desert Storm and the Gulf War before his honorable discharge. Bill was united in marriage to Marilou Lingal on March 26, 1991 in San Diego, California. They lived in Mountain Home, Idaho and Bill worked as the Food Service Supervisor at the High security Prison in Boise for a time and then as the General Manager for Burger King in Mountain Home. He was promoted to District Manager in 2013 and relocated to Hermiston, Oregon where he has lived since. Bill enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, panning for gold and was an avid Boise State Bronco Football Fan.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years: Marilou Martin, Hermiston, OR; daughter: Jasmine Sauce (Rocky), Notus, ID; sons: Tyson Madden, Spokane, WA, Jonathon Martin (Johnathon Folsom), Ludowici, GA, Christofer Martin, Hermiston, OR and Nathan Martin (Megan Rose) Hermiston, OR; sisters: Robyn Ross, Kimberly, ID, Lacy Rice, Twin Falls, ID and Sarah Rice, Hansen, ID; brothers: Todd Maas, Mountain Home, ID and Jason Martin, Sparks, NV; 5 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents William Martin Sr. and Verla Rice and a sister, Codie Melugin.    

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston, Oregon.
