Wallace “Wally” Arthur Davis of Hermiston was born June 4, 1940 in Dayton, Nevada the son of Ralph and Anna (Duchess) Davis. He passed away in Hermiston on October 7, 2024 at the age of 84 years.
Wally grew up and attended his schooling in Gilroy California where he graduated from high school. After high school, he attended college for a short time before joining the US Army. He served as an interpreter in Korea for seven years and then served two tours in Vietnam. He retired from the Army in 1979.
Wally moved to Hermiston, Oregon in the early 1980's where he owned and operated the Tower Apartments for nineteen years.
Wally enjoyed his hobby farm where he raised sheep, horses and alpacas. He also enjoyed sewing, quilting, woodworking and fishing.
Wally married Robin Delasandro in Walla Walla, WA on February 19, 2003.
He is survived by his wife, Robin; children; Ricky Davis, Jody Kelly and Alia House; two stepchildren, Tiffany Sackett and Brandon Maag; three grandchildren; sister, Diana Lemos; brother, Lloyd Davis; and many extended family members.
Military Honors will be performed at the Hermiston Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. on Friday October 25, 2024. Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in care of arrangements.
