Vanessa Ashley Dunmeyer was born on July 22, 1991, in Yuba City, California, and passed away at her home in Hermiston, Oregon, on July 8, 2026, at the age of 34.

Vanessa was a loving mother to her daughter, Iyanah Dunmeyer, and her son, Kash Sabin, who were the center of her world. Her greatest joy in life was being their mom. She is lovingly survived by her parents, children, extended family and close friends.

Vanessa was known for her big, beautiful smile and caring heart. She had a gentle way of making others feel welcomed and loved, and her warmth touched the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Like many, Vanessa had faced challenges during her adult life, but she never gave up trying. Those who loved her knew how deeply she cared for Iyanah and Kash, and that love never wavered.

Though her time with us was far too short, the love Vanessa gave will continue to live on in the hearts of her children, her family, and all who carry her memory forward. Her memory will forever be treasured, and she will be deeply missed.
