Terry Ray Bothwell

Terry Ray Bothwell of Hermiston was born April 22, 1959 in Great Falls, Montana the son of Gary and Susan (Wheaton) McCollum. He passed away in Hermiston on Wednesday December 24, 2025 at the age of 66.

Terry moved to Pendleton, Oregon as a child where attended schools. He graduated from Pendleton High School in the Class of 1977.

Terry married Cheryl Calvert in 1981 and from this union two children were born; Jillian and Jason. The couple separated many years later.

Terry drove truck for many years in his early career. He later took a job as a diesel mechanic for Conagra where he worked for many years until retiring.

Terry enjoyed working on cars, riding motorcycles and shooting guns.

He is survived by a daughter, Jillian Bothwell; sons, Jason Bothwell and Christopher Calvert; 9 grandchildren; father, Gary McCollum; sister, Michele Rider; and several extended family members and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan; and his longtime companion Kay.

A Private family Celebration of life will be held at a later time. Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in care of arrangements.
