In Loving Memory of Terrance Henderson
April 1944– May 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and friend, Terry Henderson, who left us peacefully at the age of 81.
Born and raised in Pendleton, Oregon, he grew up with a love for cars and an appreciation for hard work—values that would stay with him throughout his life. He dedicated much of his career as a private consultant designing and improving irrigation systems for agriculture, taking great pride in helping farmers grow and sustain their crops, working with municipalities on water systems, and flow consulting for nuclear and industrial systems.
Outside of work, Terry was known for his love of classic and hot rod cars. He could often be found in the tinkering under the hood, restoring old beauties to their former glory, or cruising down the road with a smile on his face.
He cherished the time spent hunting, with family and friends by his side enjoying the sport and camping in the great outdoors.
Above all, Terry was a caring father and grandfather who loved his family deeply. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, sharp wit, and loyalty to those he loved.
He is survived by his daughter Pam Cobley, her husband Ken and their daughter Isabela, as well as a wide circle of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
A celebration of Terry’s life will be held on July 18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Midway Bar & Grill in Hermiston, Oregon, in their event pavilion. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in his memory.
Rest in peace, Dad. You will always be with us—in every field, every classic car show, and every quiet morning in the outdoors.
