Suzanne (Rankin) Furrer

Suzanne “Suzie” (Rankin) Furrer was born in Culver City, California on April 17, 1946 to Stuart and Veda Rankin. She passed away peacefully on November 7, 2020 at her home in Oregon City, Oregon at the age of 74 years.
Suzie grew up in Hermiston, Oregon, graduating from Hermiston High School in the class of 1964. She then attended Blue Mountain Community College. Suzie married her high school sweetheart, Dick Furrer on October 16, 1965. They raised 3 children: Rich, Wendy and Ryan in Oregon City, Oregon.
Suzie was a homemaker and worked various jobs. Retired as a housekeeper at the Portland, Oregon LDS Temple after 20 years.
Suzie is survived by her children: Rich Furrer, Oregon City, OR; Wendy Shill, Oregon City, OR, and Ryan Furrer, Vancouver, WA; 12 grandchildren; 1 grandchild; sisters: Carole Lind and Abbie; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents. 
A private family burial will be held at the Hermiston Cemetery, Hermiston, Oregon.
