Shirley Ann Hutchison

Shirley Ann Hutchison of Hermiston was born April 19, 1938 in Fort Indiantown Gap, PA the daughter of Erwin and Marjorie (Knarr) Letak. She passed away in Walla Walla, WA on Monday January 14, 2019 at the age of 80.

Shirley lived in Niagra Falls during her childhood. She later moved to Southern California where she lived until the mid 1960's. She lived in Elgin and La Grande, Oregon from the mid 1960's until moving to Hermiston in the mid 1970's. She worked as a hand caser at Lamb Weston near Hermiston for many years.

Shirley married James Hutchison in Idaho in 1966. The couple later divorced.

Shirley enjoyed crocheting, watching movies, reading and collecting glassware.

She is survived by her daughter, Erin (Jerry) White-Fenley; son, Michael Hutchison; sister, Barbara Rufty; grandchildren, Spencer, Dillon, Kevin, Doug, Jason and Daniel; several great grandchildren; nieces, Karen and Shelby.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday January 26, 2019 at the Burns Mortuary Chapel (685 W. Hermiston Avenue Hermiston, OR 97838). Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in care of final arrangements.
