Sandra K. “Sandy” Taylor was born on April 2, 1945 in Blue River, Oregon. She passed away on September 10, 2020 un-expectantly at her home with her beloved Pomeranian Coco by her side in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 75 years. Sandy was the second child born to Dale and Lois Piper. She had a rough start in life, but managed to have a very full and busy life. Sandy was a rural mail carrier in Boardman, Oregon until she retired. She also had her own real estate business for several years until her health no longer permitted her to work. Sandy learned to play the drums and played music in various clubs and events with her husband Howard and their band, Sweet Country.
She is survived by her son: Robert Piper, Portland, OR; daughter Charmaine (McKee) Busler (Ernie Thompson), Richland, WA; grandson: Stephen Busler, Chandler, AZ and numerous friends.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, older sister: Yvonne (Pug) Tourtillott; husband: Howard Taylor and a step-daughter: Terry Aichelle.
At her request there will be no service.
