Ronald Eugene Seufert Sr.

Ronald Eugene Seufert Sr of Irrigon was born August 15, 1938 in Blaine, Oregon the son of Alvin and Olive Seufert. He passed away in Hermiston on January 9, 2025 at the age of 86 years.

Ronald grew up in the Tillamook area where he attended school. He moved to Umatilla, Oregon in the mid 1980's and has resided in Eastern Oregon since. He worked for Lamb Weston in Hermiston for nearly twenty years until retiring in 2003 at age 65.

Ronald was a fan of the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Lakers and enjoyed watching sports. He also enjoyed making model cars.

Ronald married Rena May Howard in August of 1969. She preceded him in death on April 24, 2020.

He is survived by sons, James (Michelle) Seufert, Ron (Heidi) Seufert Jr., Devin (Essence) Seufert and Dustin (Danielle) Seufert; daughters, Tina Seufert and Britiany (Keith) Jemmett; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister, Carol Gosdeck; and many extended family members.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Alvin and Bob Seufert and sister, Barbara Buckbee.

A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday January 18, 2025 at the Hermiston Cemetery. Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in care of arrangements.
