Robert Lee Herrera, also known as Bruiser, 57, died Saturday, March 28, 2020 from a heart attack in Hermiston, Oregon. Robert was born Oct. 14, 1962, in Mt. Vernon, Washington and grew up in Stanwood, Washington, where he played football at Stanwood High School. He worked as security detail for Pheasant Cafe & Lounge for many years, before working full-time at Hagerman Inc, as a Parts Salesman, which he loved. Robert was passionate about cars and a member at Wyked A & I Car Club. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting with his dog Arloa, going shooting with his brothers and spending time with his kids.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Juanita & Benny Sanchez; his siblings Liz (Joe) Herrera Allred, Mary (Eric) Herrera Bock, Richard (Elena) Herrera, Anthony Herrera, Patricia (Angel) Sanchez, and Michael Sanchez; his children: Christopher (Stephanie) Herrera, Robert M. (Ana) Herrera, Tyah Palmer, Katie Palmer, Lexie Palmer, Kiley Palmer, and Dustin Palmer, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, as well as cousins, and the many friends whose lives he touched.
Robert was preceded in death by his father John Herrera Jr., and son Brok Palmer.
Although Robert would love nothing more than to be surrounded by his family and friends, due to the COVID-19 Virus a private family burial will be at the Hermiston Cemetery, Hermiston, Oregon.
A public service will be announced at a later date.
