Moses C. Munar of Hermiston, Oregon, was born on November 21, 1954 in Oroville, California to parents, Moses and Mary Campbell. He died on June 14, 2026 in Loma Linda, California as the result of an accident while enjoying one of his passions, mountain biking at the age of 71 years. Moses was raised and attended schools in Gridley, California. He graduated from Gridley High School in the class of 1973. Moses then attended La Sierra University in Riverside, California for 1 year before transferring to Pacific Union College in Angwin, California. He then graduated from Physical Therapy School of Allied Health at Loma Linda University in 1978 and worked at Loma Linda University Medical Center, Physical Therapy for a few years. Moses met Kim Esposito in 1978, she was in the physical therapy class behind him. They married on November 15, 1981 in San Bernardino, California. They opened Terracina Orthopedic Physical Therapy Private Practice in Redlands, California in 1984 and owned and practiced PT until 1997. Moses earned his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from his alma mater, Loma Linda in 1995. They moved to Hermiston, Oregon in 1997. Moses became a partner with Rick in Rehab Associates Physical Therapy at Good Shepherd Medical Center. Moses retired in December of 2024 and pursued his many interests: playing golf, riding motorcycles, mountain biking, off road-ing in the side by side, hunting, fishing, traveling, going to car shows and playing cards. He was a wonderful husband, father and devoted grandpa and Boppy.
Moses attended Anchor Point Church for several years and was a member of the Filipino Club, was active in the Hermiston Vintage Car Club and the Loma Linda Mountain Bike Club.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years: Kim Munar, Hermiston, OR; son: Zachary Munar (Emily), Spokane, WA; daughter: Kinzie Munar (Shane Craig), Coeur d’Alene, ID; grandchildren: Moses, Audrey, Sivan & Ronney; sisters: Gaile Kerrigan, CO, Patricia Brenner, FL, Cathy Arias, TX, Jennifer Nuss, WY & Janice Hinshaw, OR and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Moses was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, David Munar.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at New Hope Community Church, 1350 S Hwy 395, Hermiston, Oregon.
