Montie Ray Lockwood

Montie Ray Lockwood of Hermiston, Oregon was born on August 24, 1954 in Phoenix, Arizona to parents, Raymond and June Baker Lockwood. He died on July 29, 2022 in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 67 years. Montie was raised in the Scio, Oregon area and worked in the timber industry. He later worked at the Goldendale Aluminum Plant in Goldendale, Washington. Montie enjoyed hunting, fishing, making birdhouses, feeding squirrels and most of all cherished time with his family.

He is survived by his companion, Irma Colunga; children: Ian, Heather & Cory; grandchildren: Tristan, Tiernan, Tannen, Chad, Mason, Ian & Russell; great grandchildren: Cobi, Addie, Kari & Quin. 

Montie was preceded in death by his wife: Carol Jo; a daughter: Mandy Rae, his parents and 7 siblings.    

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Sunday, August 7th at noon at Wildwood Recreation Site, Mountain View Shelter, group picnic area,
