Mary "Susie" (Gosnell) Edes

Mary “Susie” Edes of Umatilla, Oregon, was born on July 9, 1954 in Whittier, California. She died on May 22, 2022 in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 67 years.

She graduated from eagle point high school in Medford, Oregon, she worked various jobs but her favorite was being a mother to her two children, Anne and Kelly. Being a wife of a military husband she moved around alot: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Washington before finally settling Oregon. She later married Robert Edes in Umatilla, Oregon. Susie retired from the Walmart distribution center. 

She is survived by her husband Robert, two children: Anne and Kelly along with 5 grandchildren; mother: Erline Owen and brother, Bobby Wayne.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at the Hermiston Cemetery, Hermiston, Oregon. A celebration of life potluck gathering will follow at McNary Beach Sockeye Shelter, Umatilla, Oregon. Please bring your favorite dish, a lawn chair and lots of stories of Susie to share.
