Maria Ramirez Orozco

Maria Ramirez Orozco, longtime Stanfield and Hermiston, Oregon resident, was born on November 27, 1945 in Guadalajara, Mexico to parents, Jose and Paula Ruiz Ramirez. She died on January 21, 2020 in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 74 years. Maria was united in marriage to Miguel Orozco on April 17, 1963. She was a homemaker, raising her 4 children: Mike Jr., Martha, Rebecca and Alberto “Cheech”. Maria enjoyed her children and grandchildren, spending time with her friends, going to the casino and playing bingo. She loved to cook, reading and word search puzzles. 

She is survived by her son: Mike Orozco Jr; daughters: Martha & Rebecca; 4 grandchildren and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Maria was preceded in death by her husband, a son: Cheech, and infant daughter: Maria Isela and her parents.  

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, Hermiston, Oregon followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 A.M.. 

Burial will follow at the Hermiston Cemetery, Hermiston, Oregon.
