Lynda Mae (Raines) Shirley

Lynda Mae (Raines) Shirley was born on January 2, 1949 in Bend, Oregon to parents, George and Jessica (Bass) Raines. She died on November 27, 2025 at her home in Stanfield, Oregon at the age of 76 years. Lynda was raised in Sisters, Oregon and later graduated from high school Springfield, Oregon before returning to central Oregon. She later moved to Hermiston, Oregon and worked for Mikami Brothers Farm. Lynda married Lorre Shirley on November 9, 1985 in Hermiston, Oregon. She worked for Bud Rich and later at JR Simplot for several years. Lynda enjoyed flowers, loved horses and was very much an animal lover who cherished spending time with her family. She was a firecracker with lots of spunk.

She is survived by her husband: Lorre Shirley, Stanfield, OR; daughters: Dawn Collinsworth, Umatilla, OR and Tracy Rogers, Burns, OR; niece: Sharon Mitchell, Lincoln City, OR; grandchildren: Aaron, Aric and Stephanie; great grandchildren: Wyatt, Asher, Elliot and James.

Lynda was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Ivan and Doc; sister: Billie; grandchildren: Ariel, Ashley and Adam.       

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston, Oregon.
