Luis Medel Jr of Boardman was born November 15, 1954 in Penjamo, Guanajuato, Mexico the son of Luis Medel Tafoya and Teresa Mendoza Lopez. He passed away on Friday April 18, 2025 in Boardman at the age of 70.

Viewing will be held on Thursday April 24 from 2:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Burns Mortuary Chapel. Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 6:00 P.M. Thursday evening also in Burns Mortuary Chapel.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday April 25, 2025 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Boardman, Oregon. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery in Boardman, Oregon. Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in care of arrangements
