Loretta Elaine Wanner was born on June 8, 1947 in Pendleton, Oregon to Orville Ray and Leona Jackson. Loretta passed away at her home in Hermiston, Oregon on January 25, 2026.
Loretta grew up in Umatilla, Oregon where she graduated high school. She married Adam “Eddie” Wanner in 1965 and they were together until his passing in 2009. They had two daughters, Tammi Stuvland and Angie Wanner.
She proudly called herself a “domestic engineer”, staying home raising her children while creating a beautiful home. She and Eddie loved doing DYI projects together. They would often visit furniture stores and see an item they liked and would go home and build it themselves. She was a “domestic engineer with an eye for design”.
Loretta was very close to her sister-in-law Stephanie Ray, who was not only her sister-in-law and friend, but also her long-time caregiver. Loretta’s family is very thankful for the care and love Stephanie provided to Loretta over the years.
She is survived by her two daughters, Tammi Stuvland (Bradley J. Stuvland), Angie Wanner (Mathew Andronis), her brother Ken Ray Sr., and sister-in-law Stephanie Ray.
Preceded in death by her husband, Adam “Eddie” Wanner, father Orville Ray, mother Leona Ray, and brother Jerry Ray.
There will be a Graveside Service held on February 7, 2026 at 11:00 at the Hermiston, Cemetery in Hermiston, Oregon.
