Lenn L Greer

Lenn L. Greer was born on April 17, 1972 in Baker City, Oregon to parents, Glenn and Glenna (Akers) Greer. He died on January 5, 2025 at his home in Irrigon, Oregon at the age of 52 years.

Lenn grew up in Irrigon , and attended Riverside high school before going on the University of Idaho where he received a Bachelor’s degree. Lenn met his wife Rachel during their college years and welcomed their only son four years after they wed. Lenn started his career as a high school agricultural and shop teacher after graduating from the University of Idaho and later got a masters degree from Oregon State University

Lenn enjoyed his family, gardening, fishing, animals and cooking. Since Lenn moved his family back, 19 years ago to the community where he grew up he has grown the schools Ag program immensely and dedicated countless hours to giving back to his community. He loved being able to mentor & teach his students leaving a lasting impact that spread beyond just the FFA program.

He was respected by many and will be sorely missed.

Lenn was preceded in death by his parents and two infant siblings.

He is survived by his wife Rachel, son Ethan Greer (Alysun), beautiful granddaughter Arya Greer, 8 brothers and sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews

A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Irrigon High School Gymnasium, Irrigon, Oregon.
