Larry Dale Zumwalt of Pendleton, Oregon was born on June 16, 1950 in Prineville, Oregon to parents, Dale and Helen (Wayland) Zumwalt. He died on November 15, 2025 at home surrounded by his family at the age of 75 years.
Larry loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He adored his family and was a loving husband, great dad and an awesome grandpa. Larry was always on the search for good deals, good food and a car he could buy and resell for a profit.
He is survived by his wife: Barbara (King) Zumwalt; children: Shannon Zumwalt Krausert (Bruce), Jeremy Zumwalt, Bryon Zumwalt (Julie), Kaylee Mayeux (Theron) and Casey Zumwalt (Christine); sister: Kathy Zumwalt Smith (John); eleven grandchildren: Helen Lewis (Ben), Delaney Fiocchi, Ivy Mayeux, Kyndra Zumwalt, Damien Zumwalt, Ruby Mayeux, Tana Mayeux, Ravi Mayeux, Luna Zumwalt, Wilder Zumwalt, Willow Zumwalt; three great grandchildren: Laura Lewis, Raegyn Lewis and Josefine Lewis; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, daughter: Melissa (Zumwalt) Fiocchi and a brother, Ron Zumwalt.
It was his wish to have his service at the Veterans Shelter and the Hermiston Cemetery, Hermiston, Oregon so his wish will be honored on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 3:00 P.M..
Larry loved potlucks, so a potluck will follow the service at the Stanfield Community Center, 225 W. Roosevelt Ave, Stanfield, Oregon with an opportunity to share memories and stories.
