Larry Lytle Obituary

Larry Phillip Lytle was born in Spangler, PA on July 31, 1953. He passed away at his home in Umatilla, Or February 4, 2023 at the age of 69. Larry enlisted in the Navy in 1972 and served
his country for 4 years. He then went on to serve almost 40 years as a correctional officer in several prisons all over the state of Oregon, being promoted and working as a Captain for the
last 20 years, before his passing. Larry married Deborah Lytle on February 13, 1994. Together they spent their lives living in various places before finally settling in Umatilla, Or where Larry
worked as a Captain at Two Rivers Correctional Institution. They had a daughter together, Sarah. Larry loved his country, golf, and chess; but his greatest treasure was his family. 

He is survived by his wife Deborah, daughter Sarah (Derek Marks), 4 grandchildren- Patrick, Noah, Everleigh, and Taileigh, all of Umatilla, OR. Brother Roy, sisters Sylinda and Laverna of Salem, Or., and another brother, John from Anaheim, California. 

He is preceded in death by his parents. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 5:00 P.M. at the First Christian Church, 775 W. Highland Ave., Hermiston, OR 97838.
