Larry J Holmes

Larry Jay Holmes was born October 17th 1951 to Benjamin and Elna Holmes in Sedro-Woolley Washington and died January 1st 2021 at Good Shepherd Hospital in Hermiston Oregon where he spent the majority of his life. He had a younger brother John Holmes. Those two were inseparable in their adult years.  He married Debbie A. Wilson and had one child Mandy Holmes (Married name Mandy Stewart). He was a man of God baptized into the Adventist Church. He was a loving father, family man, a quiet person, and he enjoyed fast cars, motorcycles and pickup trucks. He worked hard, mostly in food processing plants. His last job was Oregon Potato in Boardman Oregon. He was forced to retire early because he had a massive heart attack on the job and ended up surviving thanks to the doctor's skilled hands with a quadruple bi-pass. His heart had a murmur but it gave us eight more years with him. 

He was preceded in death by his mother Elna, brother John and father Benjamin Holmes. 

A private family burial will be at the Hermiston Cemetery, Hermiston, Oregon.
