Larry G. Buckingham

Larry G. Buckingham of Hermiston was born August 26, 1961 in Kennett, MO the son of James and Dona (Boomershine) Buckingham. He passed away peacefully with his wife and daughters at his bedside on Monday November 15, 2021 in Hermiston. It was a beautiful moment that he no longer had to fight or be in pain. He was 60 years old.

Old school cowboy is what some would say. He loved the rodeo, dancing, hunting and had a passion for building homes. Larry was one you could call day or night and at the drop of a hat he would be there for you. He was a true fighter and fought hard for everything he wanted. He wasn’t one to give handouts but instead made you work for what you wanted in life. He was a passionate man who took pride in the homes he built. He was either your best friend or your worst enemy.

Larry was married to a wonderful wife, Sheri Parrott. He was blessed to have raised three daughters; Lynn Hoyt, Shannon Buckingham and Ashley Buckingham-Garcia; his daughters blessed him with eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
