Kevin Michael Lamoreaux

Kevin Michael Lamoreaux of Umatilla was born September 9, 1961 in Portsmouth, Virginia the son of Hal and Louise (Stern) Lamoreaux. He passed away at his home on April 14, 2022 at the age of 60.

Kevin’s father served in the US Navy and the family lived in many places during his childhood. He lived in Bermuda for much of his early childhood where he grew up and attended grade school. He graduated from high school in The Dalles, Oregon in the class of 1979. 
In the early 1980's, Kevin moved from The Dalles to the Hermiston area where he worked at a local farm. In 1988, he moved to Umatilla, Oregon where he has resided since.

Kevin enjoyed being a volunteer firefighter and an EMT with the Umatilla Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting in his younger years. He also enjoyed tinkering with projects, working with his computer and building models. He was very intrigued by geology and studying rock formations. He also enjoyed going for a ride on his motorcycle.

Kevin married Kellie McNabb in Umatilla, Oregon on September 25, 1991

He is survived by his wife, Kellie; son, Ian Lamoreaux; sister, Sandra Weber; brothers, Todd Lamoreaux and Josh Lamoreaux; and many extended family members.

At Kevin’s request no services will be planned. Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in care of arrangements.
