Kenneth Elward Obituary

Kenneth R. “Ken” Elward of Irrigon, Oregon, was born on July 19, 1940 in Shasta Lake, California. He died on June 3, 2022 in Irrigon, Oregon at the age of 81 years.

Ken worked on many construction projects as an Iron Worker for Local 14 and later settled in Irrigon, Oregon.

He enjoyed working on classic cars, going camping and fishing with his family. Ken loved John Wayne films and adored his many grandchildren.

He is survived by his children: Sara Nolan, Keith Elward, Shayla Elward, Tazie Elward, Kathie Perine; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Ken was preceded in death by his father: Martin "Leo" Elward; mother: Rebbecca Katherine Gohl; brothers: Donald Elward, Eddie Elward; sisters: Merriam "Betty" Butterfield, Shirley Hoyt; and a son: Kevin Elward.

At his request there will be no service.
