It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Kelly Hope Vandeman-Hawk, who departed this world after a courageous battle with cancer on March 10, 2025, at the age of 55. Kelly was a beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, whose remarkable strength and indomitable spirit left an enduring impact on the lives of many.

She is survived by her devoted spouse, Paul; her loving parents, Alan and Carol; her two brothers, Ben and Jason; her beloved children, Thorin and Kylara; and her cherished grandson, Severin. Kelly's love for her family and friends was boundless, and she was deeply grateful for the unwavering support she received throughout her journey.

Known for her incredible resilience, Kelly faced the challenges of the past eight months with grace and courage. Her unwavering love for those around her was a source of strength and inspiration. She sowed the seeds of faith, hope, and love that will surely blossom in the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. As she expressed to her family, she is now finally home, embraced by peace and love.

In honoring Kelly’s remarkable life, we invite all who knew and loved her to join us in celebrating her legacy. 

A private family burial was held at the Hermiston Cemetery, Hermiston, Oregon.
