Kathryn "Kathy" E (Norton) Steinke

Kathryn E. “Kathy" Steinke was born on March 7, 1944 in Hermiston, Oregon to parents, Joel and Elnova Loomis Norton. She died on June 19, 2021 at her home in Stanfield, Oregon at the age of 77 years. Kathy was raised and attended schools in Stanfield, Oregon, graduating from Stanfield High School. She then attanded Oregon State University before returning to Stanfield. Kathy worked at C&B Livestock in Hermiston, Pure Grow in Umatilla, Oregon and Superior Farms in Hermiston before she retired. Kathy was united in marriage to Ronald “Ron” Steinke on May 17, 2017 in Stanfield, Oregon. She was a member of the Harmony Club and Bunco Group. Kathy enjoyed cats, gardening, traveling, reading, word search puzzles, visiting with friends and bowling.

She is survived by her husband Ron Steinke, Stanfield, Oregon.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sharon McDonald.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at the Pleasant View Cemetery, Stanfield, Oregon.
