Joseph "Joe" V Issel

Joseph V. “Joe” Issel was born on April 5, 1977 in Hermiston, Oregon to parents, Lee Carl Issel Sr and Patricia Ann Rogers Issel. He died on September 12, 2023 at his home in Kennewick, Washington at the age of 46 years. Joe was raised and attended schools in Hermiston, graduating from Hermiston High School in the class of 1995. He started his career as a apprentice plumber and worked his way up to a journeyman plumber. Joe worked at Hanford for several years before owning and operating his own plumbing business. He was an avid fisherman, never without a pole and tackle box in all of his vehicles. Joe also enjoyed hiking, mushrooming, gold panning, playing pool and family gatherings.

He is survived by his mother: Patty Issel (Jim Raymond), Hermiston, OR; son: Garrett Issel, Kennewick, WA; brother: Lee Carl Issel II, Irrigon, OR; sister: Angie Issel, Hermiston, OR; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Joe was preceded in death by his father, and a step brother, Randy Johnson.    

A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston, Oregon.
