For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain.
September 21,1936 was Joe’s birthday, but today he is in heaven, I believe the day he accepted Jesus he became a new creation. The old passes away, all things become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Joseph M. Bettencourt was born in West Bridgewater, Mass. 88 years ago, where he met his wife on a blind date, 69 years ago. They faithfully loved the 4 children created for them. Larry M. (deceased), Marie (Terry) Smith, Joseph M. (Tiffany) & Jennifer S. (Tim) Ginther, with many grandchildren, great & one great, great.
All those who knew Joe were aware of his personality and willingness to get the job done no matter what. Joe experienced more deeply in his last few months mercy, grace and Jesus, sharing this with love for his family, his church and friends.
His prayer for you was always to “allow Jesus to show you His love by taking all your sins upon Himself that you would live the life He created you for.”
His final request, “Rejoice in the Lord always, again I say rejoice.”
A celebration of life service will be held on September 21, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the Stanfield Baptist Church, Stanfield, Oregon.
