Jolene E (Combs) Tappo

Jolene E. Tappo of Hermiston, Oregon, was born on November 18, 1949 in Pendleton, Oregon to parents, William and Eleanora Tuning Combs. She died on March 17, 2023 in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 73 years.

She is survived by daughters: Lorri (Richard) Stephens, Kimberly (Michael) Gibson; son: Richard (Tisha) Horton; grandchildren: Maria Tappo, Leo Tappo, Elias Tappo, Daniel Tappo, Juanita Tappo, Chrystal (Kris) Harrison, Veronica Stephens, Samantha Hampton, Emma Williamson, Taylor Horton, Ricky (Megin) Horton, Kalee Horton, and numerous great grandchildren. 

Jolene was preceded in death by her husband Charles Tappo.

Jolene loved her family more than anything. Her most treasured times were any activity that involved spending time with them. She also loved her church family at Oasis of Hope, her caregivers at Sun Terrace, and animals of all kinds.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be Tuesday, March 21, 5:30-7:30 at Kim and Michael’s home. Casual dress, light food provided. Contact any family member if you need directions.
