Jesus "Jesse" Pena

Jesus (Jesse) Gomez Peña of Hermiston Oregon, born September 25th, 1938 in Guadalupe Mexico to Tomas Peña and Feliciana Gomez-Peña, passed away at 2:48 PM on May 24th, 2023 surrounded by family. He married the love of his life, Rosa Maria Munoz in Eagle Pass, Texas at the ages of 17 and 16 respectively. A year later they welcomed their first child Ana Luisa "Lisa", followed by Jose “Jesse”. They then moved to Hermiston Oregon in 1960, where they had their youngest son, Tomas "Tommy". Jesus worked at C&B Livestock as a mill room operator until he retired. In retirement he enjoyed volunteering at the food basket in Stanfield every week, spending time with his family, hosting BBQ's, attending family dinners, and traveling. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Hela, Bepa, and Luisa, and his daughter Ana Luisa. 

Jesse is survived by his wife Rosa, his sisters Maggie and Vega, his brother Tomas, his two sons Jose and Tomas, his grandchildren Christina, Amica, Jordan, Alisha, Amanda, Addie, his great grandchildren, and his great-great grandchildren. 

A graveside service was held at the Hermiston Cemetery, Hermiston, Oregon.
