Jerome Martel Price, formerly of Hermiston, was born April 9, 1985, in Hermiston, Oregon, the son of Aaron Brown and Rose Thomas. He passed away in Portland, Oregon, on June 9, 2025, at the age of 40.
Jerome grew up in Hermiston, where he attended school. He resided in the Hermiston area until two years ago when he moved to Portland. He worked as a security guard in Portland for the past two years.
Jerome enjoyed cooking, eating, and posting comments about the foods he was preparing. He also loved freestyling and sharing his creativity through music. He volunteered regularly at events in the Black community, showing his dedication to uplifting and supporting others.
He is survived by his son, Jae’sean Price; father, Aaron Brown; mother, Rose Thomas; sister, Tosha Bock; brother, Xavier Rambo; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Davion Chalmers; grandparents, Eula and John Thomas; and aunt and uncle, Margie and James Branch. Uncle Timmy Thomas
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 (noon) on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Zeal Church, 730 E Hurlburt Avenue, Hermiston, OR. Burial will follow in the Hermiston Cemetery. Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in care of arrangements.
