Jeffory Michael Rauch passed away after a motorcycle accident in Idaho on June 26, 2022. He was born November 16, 1970 in Pendleton, Oregon to Janis Baker and Stanley Rauch. He attended grade school in Irrigon and high school in Heppner, Oregon. He also attended schools in Utah and California, graduating from high school in Aptos, California in 1989. After high school he worked as a union laborer before entering the US Navy. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, he joined the National Guard where he served for many years until retiring in December of 2019.
Jeffory held many truck and heavy equipment operator positions. He settled in Ridby, Idaho where he worked for RC Heavy Haul for several years before joining the crew at Bonneville County Road and Bridge in 2018.
Jeffory married Donna Barnett in July of 1995. The couple later divorced but remained very strong friends.
He is survived by his constant companion, Snoopy; mother, Janis (Stephen) Palmer; father, Stanley Rauch; brother, Jason (Norma) Rauch; sister, Jennifer (Charles) Peck; step-brother, Michael (Liza) Murrell, step-sister, Wendy (Matt) Brown; grandmother, Clarice Baker; numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Clarence Baker and Irvin and Mildred Rauch.
A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday July 9, 2022 at Echo Cemetery in Echo, Oregon. Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in care of arrangements.
