Janice was an avid community member. She was a volunteer firefighter at the Umatilla Rural Fire Department, where she was a Wildland Firefighter Type 2, EMT Basic, and Driver Operator. Additionally, Janice would regularly volunteer for various charity events in the community, and was always willing to lend a helping hand with a big smile on her face.
She was also a student at Blue Mountain Community College (BMCC) campus in Hermiston, OR where she attained her General Education Development (GED) and was working towards her Associate of General Studies (AGS) degree. In addition, Janice worked full time as an office specialist at BMCC, where she was known for keeping up morale and motivating students. In Janice’s spare time, she enjoyed riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle, singing, playing the fiddle, bedazzling everything and anything, and having fun with dear family and friends. Anything Janice did, she always gave 110%. Janice would always follow her heart no matter where that took her, and she loved as big as the personality she had.
