Janet M (Cooper) Larsen

Janet M. Larsen on Boardman, Oregon, was born on January 7, 1952 in The Dalles, Oregon. She died on February 1, 2023 in Pendleton, Oregon at the age of 71 years. Janet was raised and attended schools in Hood River, Oregon. She was united in marriage to Clayton Larsen on December 2, 1971 in Skamania County, Washington. They lived in The Dalles, Oregon before moving to Boardman, Oregon in 1992 where they have lived since. Janet spent many years working as a caregiver to others. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, trips to the coast. 

She is survived by her husband of 51 years: Clay Larsen, Boardman, OR; daughter: Misty Larsen, Boardman, OR; son: Shane Boggs, Wapato, WA; sister: Michelle Renee Rawlins, Hood River, OR; Muriel Jane Darr, Boardman, OR; granddaughter: Georgette Clayton Boggs; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Gene Cooper & Rick Leonard.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston, Oregon.

A reception will follow at the Boardman Grange Hall, Boardman, Oregon.

Contributions may be made in Janet’s memory to the Tri-City Cancer Center, Kennewick, Washington.
