James "Jimmy" H. Darrow

James H. Darrow was born on January 17, 1973 in Baker City, Oregon to Donald L. Darrow and Victoria Crawford. He passed away in McMinnville, Oregon on January 23, 2026.

James or known by many as Jimmy, grew up in Baker City, Oregon where he graduated high school.

Jimmy married Amy Potter on March 5, 2003 and together they had two children, Kassy and Justin.

Jimmy was a jack of all trades and spent most of his career doing an assortment of handyman jobs. He was a lover of the outdoors. An avid hunter and fisherman, collector of hot wheels and loved all old cars and Jeep racing. Though, his greatest love in life were cats. Jimmy loved his kitties.

Jimmy is survived by: his wife of 22 years, Amy, daughter Kassy, son Justin, his father Donald, his mother Victoria and brother Mike.

He is preceded in death by his beloved cat, Cougar.

The family was requested in lieu of flowers, to please make a donation to either Hermiston's local Animal Rescue, Fuzz Ball or to the ASPCA, in Jimmy's memory.
