Jack Urban Duffee, Jr. of Hermiston was born September 30, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Jack Sr. And Elizabeth (Grosall) Duffee. He passed away in Hermiston on Saturday April 27, 2019 at the age of 83.

Jack grew up and attended his schooling in Chicago, Illinois. After high school, He joined the US Army where he was stationed in Germany and served for over two years. After his honorable discharge, Jack began his career as a machinist in Southern California. He worked as a machinist for Hydro-Aire in California for many years until retiring in the early 1990's. He moved to Hermiston, Oregon in 1993 where he has resided since.

Jack was an avid canoeist, a sharpshooter, an artist and jewelry maker, a collector of antiques, a carpenter and jack-of-all trades.

Jack married Karen Holiday on July 14, 2001 in Hermiston.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; daughters, Dawn Rome and Danielle Conran; grandchildren, Anthony Rome, Kyler Barton and Jada Rome; five great grandchildren; and brother, Tom Duffee.

He was preceded in death by grandson, Cameron Rome; a sister, Virginia Rife and a brother, Jim Duffee

A Private family ceremony will be planned at a later time with burial in Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in care of final arrangements.
